Keeping your access to the Plan Advisor Site (PAS) secure with Two-Step Verification

We know that the security of your Clients’ information is very important to you. We will be introducing Two-Step Verification to the PAS to make it even more secure. With that in mind, we wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of some security best practices for access to the PAS.

• Please keep your PAS access code secure and never share it with others
• Be aware of your surroundings if you’re working in a public space
• If one of your associates needs access to the site, remember to request “delegate” access for them so they have their own secure access code
• Be sure to review your list of delegates at least yearly to help ensure that the right people have access to the site

Need a refresher on how to assign a delegate?

It’s a simple process.

• Log into the PAS using your access ID and password
• On the home page select the “delegation” tab, then “Your Associates”
• On the next page, click on “Add an associate” – from here you complete the form and hit “submit”

Your Associate/Delegate (Delegate) will get an access ID and password, mailed separately. Your Delegate will have 30 days to sign into the PAS and reset their password.

You can review the list of delegates for your firm at any time by selecting the “Your associates” link under the “Delegation” menu on the PAS home page.
