E-beneficiary Campaign launching in May

Starting in May, we’ll run a digital beneficiary campaign encouraging eligible plan members to add beneficiaries for eligible products using our online GRS beneficiary tool.

What will plan members receive as part of this campaign?

As part of this campaign eligible plan members will receive emails:

• if they have at least one product where there is no named beneficiary asking them to name a beneficiary, or
• asking them to review beneficiaries already named on their products.

New this year

• The Active alert tile will remain always-on, periodically reminding these plan members without a beneficiary until they complete the designation.
• Quebec-based plan members with only Sun Life Financial Trust-issued policies will be excluded from this campaign, as beneficiary designation isn’t available to them.
