Health benefits made simple – claims, coverage, virtual care and online pharmacy in one app

We're redefining the care journey through a plan member-first approach – streamlining access to health solutions including preventive care, disease management, pharmacy services, and mental health support.
Over the next few weeks, we’re integrating the following features on the my Sun Life mobile app:
- Sun Life Virtual Care, by Dialogue* (formerly Lumino Health Virtual Care).
- Online Pharmacy, by Pillway** (formerly Lumino Health Pharmacy).
Note: In Quebec, pharmacy services are provided by Pharmacie Abd-el Monem Osman, Inc. In all other provinces, pharmacy services are provided by Online Pharmacy by Pillway. The digital experience is available to members regardless of the pharmacy partner.
Coming soon! We’ll be extending this integration to mysunlife.ca, giving plan members single sign-on convenience with an even greater reach. We’ll honour all Sun Life plan sponsor and plan member exclusions for this update.
Integrated health services – all in one place
Our seamless digital experience lets plan members access their benefits, look up coverage, make claims, and get access to care solutions – including virtual health-care visits and pharmacy services – on a single platform.
Access to wellness features
In addition, at no cost to your Clients, plan members can now access wellness features using the my Sun Life mobile app (and coming soon mysunlife.ca). Features include:
- fitness challenges
- weekly active minutes targets, and
- personalized wellness tools designed to help achieve lasting well-being.
Support for dependents
A plan member’s dependents will also have access to health services through the my Sun Life mobile app. However, dependents cannot access plan member personal data – and only the plan member can submit claims and view claims and coverage information.
Evolving our health offerings
We’re committed to strengthening benefits plan value by evolving how we support plan members. Bringing virtual care and online pharmacy into the my Sun Life mobile app is another step to ensuring plan members get the most from their plan.
We’ll send a Focus Update to plan sponsors about the my Sun Life app integration on June 25, 2026.
